Meeker Forceps are typically used during thoracic operations when hemorrhaging occurs in vessels or arteries. The serrated jaws are angled at 90 degrees and can tightly grasp the desired tissue or vessel. The length ranges from 7″ and 10 ¾” depending on the depth depending on the type of procedure being performed.
